Invitation Letter

Applying for a Conference Visa

Whether you need a visa to visit the United Kingdom depends on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of your stay.

If you are travelling to the UK to attend a conference, you may need to apply for a Standard Visitor visa before travelling. Some nationalities can travel to the UK without a visa but may need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

Please make sure you check the latest and correct information based on your nationality on the official UK Government website:

Visa Type

For most conference attendees, the Standard Visitor visa is the relevant visa category. This visa may allow you to visit the UK for activities such as attending conferences, seminars, and other permitted business or academic events.

A Standard Visitor visa generally allows visitors to stay in the UK for up to 6 months, subject to the conditions of the visa and the purpose of the visit.

Invitation Letter:

After completing your registration for the Global Conference on Psychology, the organizer will issue an official invitation letter to support your visa application. The invitation letter will confirm your participation in the conference and can be submitted as part of your supporting documents when applying for your UK visa.

Please note that an invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval. Visa decisions are made by the relevant UK authorities based on each applicant’s individual circumstances and supporting documentation.

We strongly recommend registering for the conference and beginning your visa application process as early as possible, particularly if you require a visa to enter the United Kingdom.

For the latest information about visa requirements, application procedures, processing times, and supporting documents, please always refer to the official UK Government website.
